(included immunizations, dental
screenings, nutrition
demonstrations)

With the help of other community
partners, a Back to School Health
Fair was held August 2, 2008.
NyE Communities Coalition’s vision has always
been Empowering Families with healthy choices
to build strong youth for a healthy community.

In addition to promoting activities that are
alcohol, tobacco, drug and violence free,
NyECC encourages sound nutrition and
physical fitness.

The Back to School Health Fair provided opportunities for
involvement from many community volunteers. Dentists donated
time for screenings, there were nutrition demonstrations and
immunizations. Wal-Mart provided the location.
