Community Partners
NyE Communities Coalition (NyECC) provides an arena for communication among agencies
and organizations across the counties. It facilitates pooling resources and funding channels.
NyECC is vested in building capacity for the provision of all services that promote a healthy
community.  Our coalition membership acts in an advisory capacity for the Nye County School
District and Nye County Juvenile Probation.

Meetings are open to all interested community members and agencies. We welcome the
opportunity to explore collaboration and cooperation opportunities with you
Our Community Partners
Nye County School District  Pre-Kindergarten
This program will provide opportunities for children to learn and discover in a setting that includes all children.  
The purpose of the Pre-K program is to facilitate readiness for Kindergarten in these targeted areas: Language
and Literacy, Math, Science. Self-Help skills, Socialization, Art, Motor Skills.
Even Start is a Family Literacy Program that builds on the family's strengths.  It is designed to help parents to
become full partners in the education of themselves and their children.  We help the parent and child to reach
their full potential as learners.
Referrals to appropriate agencies, food pantry, Rape and child assault advocacy, Men’s/women’s support groups,
emergency shelter for victims of violence, supervised visitation, clothes closet, crisis intervention, Elder abuse
advocacy.
No to Abuse
Our mission is to serve all communities of Nye County by working to improve and enhance the positive
development of youth and families as directed under the guidance prescribed by the Fifth Judicial District Court.  
We are devoted to providing resources and assistance incorporating safety, responsibility, and rehabilitation for
the benefit of all our citizens.
We are committed to providing safe environments for the 6,000 plus students attending 18 Elementary, Middle,
and High Schools spread over 18,000 square miles of Nevada heartland.
Temporary housing, utility assistance, drug/alcohol information and referral, pharmacy/prescription assistance.
Parenting classes, disaster/emergency relief. GED preparation, home visitation programs.
Pahrump Family Resource Center
Our Mission is to empower the people with God's message of love, hope, compassion, forgiveness and grace, so
that we may go out into the world and share this story with those we meet...St. Martin's Episcopal Church supports
and sponsors community activities and outreach services for families, youth and seniors in Pahrump.  Sunday
services are at 10:30am.
St. Martin’s Episcopal Church
Rural education at its best!  Elementary schools are in Dyer, Goldfield, and Silver Peak. Currently, Esmeralda
County has no high school, but students are transported from each of the three communities above to Tonopah
High School.
Provides a wide spectrum of health and human services in both residential and outpatient environments. Our
services include substance abuse and addiction treatment, homeless and runaway shelters, vocational
counseling and mental health programs. These services are available to adults, children, adolescents, and
families.
United Way of Pioneer Territory is part of United Way of Southern Nevada.  United Way of Pioneer Territory is
located in Pahrump and serves Amargosa Valley, Beatty, Caliente, Goldfield, Hawthorne, Pahrump, Pioche,
Rachel, Tonopah & Yerington
The mission of the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Agency (SAPTA) is to reduce the impact of
substance abuse in Nevada.
Offers free services to families of newborn babies and infants up to the age of four.  We have Center open to
parents for various classes and support groups. Our resource lending center is available for the loan of books,
videos, CD's and cassette
