To meet the requirements of the Nevada Interscholastic Athletic Association Policy on alcohol,
tobacco, and other drug possession, use and abuse, NCSD has requested that NyE
Communities Coalition assist with the educational component of the policy.
To fulfill the requirements so that a student athlete may continue to be eligible to participate in
sports and other school activities, the student athlete and their parent(s) will need to complete
any assignment and other requirements of the NIAA in a timely manner.
As the NIAA policy states this is a program that requires parent and student participation.
Please refer to the complete policy for any clarification or contact the school’s Athletic
Department.
